Golden Axe 2 Intro Orchestral short Cover - Roland Fantom 07
Переглядів 1367 місяців тому
I created this cover using a Roland Fantom, a too expensive instrument that disappointed be really hard as per its horrible scene based architecture, the not at all friendly interface and some sounds that are a real joke. So I am looking for a synth/workstation/arranger that could be the best for film scoring, which one in your opinion should I check ? Thanks in advance !

Both costs fortune any one would be great 😂
So true, after long time of consideration I decided to sale them. My current gear is a Yamaha MODX7+ and a Nord Electro 6D 73 and couldn’t be happier
Very upbeat and futuristic, I really like it.
This was made in one hour in a music store, I recorded the 4 tracks separately on a tascam portastudio and then I mixed them when I got home lol
Keep making great music, my friend.
This is amazing 😮
Big boss vibes here.
This is the song to play on loop and just cruise.
That was exactly my intention
Another great tune 👌
Glad you liked it ! Thanks a lot
Yessss such a great game to pay an homage to, gret stuff.
That was the game my Sega Genesis bundle had, plus Sonic 2
I like this one good sir great job 👏 👍
Thanks a lot bro !
Super❤
Thanks. I like the sound a lot :)
I have the Sub 37 together with Eventide Space..
Very good music to go to sleep😔😳🥱🥱🥱🥱
Sweet dreams
keep it up dude!
I have the big Fantom 8, and I do agree there is a bit of menu diving, but that just comes with the territory of having a synth that can do a whole bunch. Is there anything you've been wanting to ask another Fantom owner? The first month I had my Fantom I was definitely lost on how to do a lot of FX editing, but I am pretty stable on it now. Ask away if you have a question on it. Nice vid btw! Just realized this was uploaded in 2022 lol so I'm sure you're set by now
It’s insane how bad the selections on the A Side of the albums actually were.. how was this NOT In the top 4?!
Lots of great songs on Different Gear Still Speeding. But I agree this should've been on there.
fat analog sound
Indeed !
Fucking hell, they took it off Spotify.
encore une vingtaine années de boulot courage
Temazo!
Gracias amigo
Very much reminds me of a vintage final fantasy game. Great tune.
Nice. I really like my Subsequent 37. My first hardware synth and the one that 'taught' me how they work. Super clear front panel and most functions are 'right in your face' :) After more than 3 years playing now, I still get a smile every time I play it. I bought the Source Audio Collider soon after getting the Subsequent 37 because it 'needs' some reverb and delay (and this was a good option for that in my opinion) and recently, I added the Strymon Deco V2 to give some nice chorus and more saturation, opening up a new world of sound shaping options for me and my S37 :)
Beautiful setup indeed, I do love the sound texture you can get with moog and strymon pedals
@@Charlyarayayeah, indeed!
Beautifully haunting
Still hoping one day to be a video games composer. Thank you my friend
@@Charlyaraya you got the talent!
Wonderful, reminds me of the great/depressing parts in a game.
awesome demo man! I got a question though as i just got mine and set it up a few minutes ago and am wondering: How do i adjust velocity of the keys? it seems every single patch is set to max velocity and it does not detect if i'm playing delicately or if i'm hammering the keys down. Any input is appreciated thanks!
Hey, thank you for you comment, I don’t have this one anymore. I never felt the need to change velocity as I loved aftertouch feature. Sorry for not helping
@@Charlyaraya that’s ok! Thank you either way I look forward to learning this thing

Nicely done ✔️.
Thanks for the visit
Can't wait to get my 37.
Its a fine choice for your first Moog. Imo, its the swansong of Moog. The last best.Matirach, etc are all nice and all, but this one's the business. You chose well, my friend. As side note, if you have one of the early models, as do i, the filter potentiometer is plastic and degrades over time. It just gets a bit glitchy and inconsistent. Moog have accepted this and offer a replacement board for the cost of shipping, which is awesome. It shows how they stand by their products. Check the moog forum for more info if you choose. 👍Just being a good citizen. 👍
HUGE
Hey Charly, what patches do you like best? Have you any good manual settings? [I'm assuming 'patch' means one of the 1024 settings in banks called A,B,C,D,E,F,G, and H.
Sorry for my late reply, definitely bank A, B and H are my favorites, but I am really into a package I bought some months ago with ambient patches for the bank H
Before going into modulation, you can play around with Glide section, some smaller direct modulation there and it affects how you play! :) That is fun, good job :)
Thank you very much :)
it has rec/play mode on sequencer or arpeggiator??can i overdub another melody after an arpeggiator pattern??
Hi, unfortunately I do not have this synth with me and never used the sequencer
I was looking for more info about the Deepmind, I liked what you did with it, so I subscribed :)
Thank you very much
Sounds great. I like the motion and how the more "solid" sound still keeps things grounded.
It’s was sad for me to let it go, I hope to get it back some day, thanks for your comment
Very cool!
Thank you very much
Really nice, would love to learn how you made it.
Thank you, I used the same patch appearing in the video : A-23 Bliss Pad, I just decreased the Resonance, increased Frequency and Release, plus add a little noise. Then I just played with the sliders from time to time to do the motion
Bought one this year and I am really impressed given the price point.
The arpeggiator and built in effects really take it to the next level. I think a lot of people are sleeping on the Deepmind 12.
Not me, eric! I've been learning on one for over 2 years now!
Nice demo! I love my DM12, such a deep well of sound possibilities.
I'm so new to this field, I don't realize that because I have nothing to compare to. One thing I don't like, though, is the keys are not going to last forever. Already clunky. I need something durable because I practice a lot.
@@henrybrowne7248 I hear you on the keys. They're pretty nice to play but you can tell they're not the highest quality. I usually use my SY77 via midi to play it, much nicer keybed and an extra octave.

The DM12 is on top of my whishlist
I would definitely go for it, it can do the same than others that cost more than double, thanks for your comment
It doesn’t really have a sequencer right? Or is it just a weird sequencer?
@@jgbpkoolguysit has a control, parameter, sequencer, but also the ability to assign chords to keys, and when used with the control sequencer can fake some polyphonic sequencing
There are some new preset banks out for the DM ua-cam.com/video/QPmjRIr3ia0/v-deo.html
Nice BOC vibes, love it!!!
It will give me days of joy for sure, thanks for your comment
Really deep sounds. I like it! M'y deepmind is unplugged currently (lack of time...) But now I want to use it ;-)
Hey Bertrand. I feel you man! Im in a similar position, only due to lack of space. I get it out every now and then, but haven't got the heart at the moment. Once the kids have finished moving out we can get the place sorted and I can get everything back out of their boxes😁
You guys sound rich.
@@henrybrowne7248 Nope, just old.
